Homework sheet 1

Production

1.)Think of an idea for the film.
2.)Expand idea-think about the stages of the film;beginning, middle, and end.
3.)Storyboard for film-helps visualise the important scenes in the movie.
4.)Assemble a crew for the film.
5.)Set up the location/set of the film with props etc.
6.)Gather and test the equipment.
7.)Film your movie.

8.) Edit your movie.
9.)Add themes, sound effects etc.

10.)Create the title and credits.


Distribution

There are many ways films go from the edit houses to the audience:
-Cinema
-Online
-Television
-Apps such as Netflix


Marketing

Ways in which films are marketed are:
-Trailers
-Banners and posters
-Happy meals
-Merchandise
-Slideshows
-Standees
-News paper ads
-Radio broadcast of the movie
-Internet adverts (like the ones on the side of youtube videos)

Some of the ways films have been changed for their audience are that there are voiceover added to films for audiences who have trouble with watching the film, films also go 3-D to provide more realism to audiences who want a more closer feel to the movie, and also some films have flashing images removed for the audiences who have epilepsy.

Exhibition

Some of the ways films are shown are cinema, dvd, and tv.
